ABOUT THE POSITION

As a junior geotechnical engineer at WSP, you will work on geotechnical investigations, mostly in the office but field visits may also occur. You will be involved in projects and have the opportunity to take on your own responsibilities. You will help coordinate the work with field geotechnicians, analyze results, and create reports and drawings. You will also be involved in developing drilling programs and investigating soil stratigraphy.

In your role, you will also have the opportunity to grow within geotechnics and receive guidance from senior colleagues in both Dalarna and Sundsvall. You will work on mixed assignments, both locally in Dalarna and nationally with road projects and large industrial projects.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Have, or will soon obtain, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Road and Water Engineering or Geotechnics (for example from Lund, KTH, Luleå or Chalmers), or have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Environmental Engineering or other relevant post-secondary education for the position
Are structured, responsible, and have a strong interest in geotechnics
Have good collaboration and communication skills and are a team player
Have a desire to learn and develop in the field of geotechnics
Have an interest in working practically in the field, even if it is not the primary part of the job
Have a valid driver's license (B)
Are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
